Overview of RRIM EcoSmart

RRIM EcoSmart is a web-based application tool, designed to assist rubber producers such as smallholders and estates to improve their farm management practices. It has four main outputs: (1) yield; (2) tree girth; (3) gross margin; and (4) emissions (CO2 and soil carbon). RRIM EcoSmart would enable rubber producers to simulate these outputs based on multiple farm management practices scenarios. This way, they can: (1) assess and understand the impact of different farm management practices on yield, girth, gross margin and emissions; and (2) determine and implement which farm management practices would best improve their yield, girth, gross margin and emissions.
